I went into 2025 with the best of intentions and a very ambitious goal: 45 books. I love reading, escaping into other worlds, falling in love with fictional characters, and staying up too late because one more chapter turns into fifty. But 2025 had other plans.
Between work, life, and everything in between, I finished 39 books this year and honestly? I’m still really proud of that. Some years are for devouring books nonstop, and some years are for savoring them slowly when you can. This year was about balance, comfort reads, and letting myself read what I actually wanted.
